Peter Devine is Technical Manager, for VEGA Controls, with over 30 years’ experience in the instrumentation sector. As well as being closely involved in detailed technical and application support across a wide range of industries, Peter works with global product managers and stakeholders on the testing, evaluation and development of new measurement instrumentation. He is also responsible for product training content and delivery to internal and external users, and author of the book, ‘Radar Level measurement: The User’s Guide’.

Tom has spent almost two decades designing and supporting water quality instrumentation, as well as providing technical advice on the use of different analysers in a wide range of applications. Specialising in colorimetry, spectroscopy and turbidity measurement, Tom is now Sales Director for Process Measurement & Analysis (PMA). PMA are a distributor of online water quality instruments, as well as a manufacturer of reagents for use in online analysers such as colorimeters.

Andrew is Process Engineer with a PhD in wastewater treatment technologies from Cranfield University, with over 20 years’ experience in water and wastewater. Having started his career with the Thames Water Innovation team, Andrew moved into consultancy before working for Veolia UK, leading optimisation solutions for major utilities. 7 years ago, Andrew moved over to Hach as Global Projects Director, with his focus on innovation and optimisation for municipal and industrial water solutions. Andrew, recently took up the role of Director, Strategic Sustainability Programmes, with a focus on current and emerging markets.

Richard has 32 years’ experience in client facing and operational management positions across the utilities, construction and engineering sectors. He has a background in water treatment science and process engineering and has worked in water utility, consultancy and product manufacturing roles across the industry. His current role at Hach has a UK wide accountability to build relationships with strategically important consultants, design engineers and capital delivery partners through the recurring 5-year water industry Asset Management Programme (AMP) cycle. Further responsibility includes developing projects, building sales funnel, achieving sales quotas and ensuring that all elements of project management are covered from early stage consulting and feasibility to project delivery.

Martin has worked for Hach for a total 22 years and has been involved in water analytics for over 30 years. A chemist by training and with an interest in all things technical Martin has held customer facing positions within the industry as well as a Director of the Water Monitoring Association. As Application Development manager Martin has been closely involved with the planning ,installation, commissioning and optimisation of Hach Real Time Control systems on many wastewater treatment sites across the UK.

James has over 12 years’ experience in the industrial & municipal wastewater industry and environmental sector. Initially starting his career as a field engineer, he migrated across to technical support & account management. His current Municipal Account Manager role at Hach involves providing sales, technical support, product training/workshops, Lunch & Learns, demonstrations and expert advice to municipal (wastewater & drinking water) clients throughout The Midlands region. He is also the UK Wastewater & Marketing Lead for Hach.

With almost 30 years of water industry engineering knowledge and expertise, Mark spent the first 20 years of his career working for United Utilities, responsible for the maintenance and servicing of instrumentation on water treatment works, fault finding on analytical instruments, PID controls, actuators and PLC systems.
In 2015, Mark joined ATi as a Senior Service Engineer and is responsible for leading key innovative water quality and gas detection installations across a variety of industries in the North of the UK, regularly hosting customer training workshops to share best practice and expertise. Mark is passionate about providing excellent customer service and developing innovative, customer focused solutions, tailored to specific applicational needs, to ensure the delivery of bespoke, socially responsible and future-proof engineered solutions.

With 20 years experience of both sales and service within the water industry, Marcin joined Badger Meter in 2017 as Sales Manager for Eastern Europe. With responsibilities for Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Baltic countries, Marcin’s main focus was the industrial sector, offering class-leading solutions for the most demanding and challenging applications.
In 2019, Marcin was appointed as European Sales Manager for Water and Wastewater, covering all of Europe for flow instrumentation products for water and wastewater, providing technologies that simplify jobs and allow for self-service with market leading, infrastructure-free, cellular AMI solutions that optimize operational efficiencies.
