Abstract Information :
Hach will present on a number of benefits for Real Time Control systems on the path to net zero. Areas covered will include improved operator effectiveness and efficiency, process stability and securing compliance, energy savings and the possibility to reduce or negate the need for additional capital investment in the process stream.
The presentation will then move on to specific case studies at Thames Water, where Hach and a representative from Thames Water will present on how Real Time Control systems can provide both energy savings and compliance resilience on specific nitrifying activated Sludge Plants. The presentation will particularly focus on how Hach worked with operations and other departments within Thames Water to provide and deliver a solution to process issues at Beckton Sewage Treatment Works.
The presentation will also discuss how compliance and cost reductions may be achieved for phosphorus removal, sludge thickening and dewatering and other critical areas.
