The AQE and WWEM Gala dinner and awards will take place on the evening of the 9th of October and is being hosted at the VOX venue which is onsite at the NEC.

What’s included: Pre dinner drinks Reception, three course dinner, and ½ a bottle of wine per person.
Cost: Tickets are £140 + VAT per person.
When: The Drinks Reception will start at 6.30pm on the 9th of October and guests will be seated for dinner at 7pm.
Dress Code: Most people wear Black Tie / Suits / Dresses but we do not enforce a strict dress code.

Live-MusicGet ready for an evening of laughter and entertainment with our special after-dinner speaker, the legendary comic actor and impressionist, Chris Barrie. A seasoned performer with a stellar reputation on the corporate scene, Chris is best known for his iconic roles as Gordon Brittas in The Brittas Empire and Arnold Rimmer in Red Dwarf.

Chris first made his mark on TV with a standout performance on Jasper Carrott’s Election Night Special, which led to his memorable work on Spitting Image, where he captivated audiences with his spot-on impressions of figures like Prince Charles, Ronald Reagan, Barry Norman, and Paul Daniels.

Beyond TV, Chris transitioned to the big screen, starring as Hilary the butler in the Tomb Raider movies alongside Angelina Jolie. He also showcased his passion for all things mechanical in Chris Barrie’s Massive Engines on The Discovery Channel.

With his extensive experience as a voice artist and his sharp wit, Chris Barrie is set to deliver an unforgettable after-dinner speech that will leave you thoroughly entertained.
