The indoor environment plays a key role in human health and wellbeing, from the young to the elderly. Public Health England (PHE) plays an important role to review and develop the evidence on the health impacts of indoor air quality as well as to identify potential interventions to inform those who are in a position to take action (including the public) and thereby improve indoor air quality. PHE has contributed to, and continues to contribute to, the work of government departments in the area of IAQ, but also works closely with various organisations on their projects to provide scientific input. The presentation will give an inside view of Public Health England’s work on IAQ and health.
