GAMBICA is the UK association for instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory equipment manufacturers. We offer guidance and advice on standards and legislation to over 200 member companies. We cover four industry sectors; Process instrumentation and control, Factory automation, Test & Measurement and laboratory equipment. Within our Process instrumentation and control sector, we conduct a market data collection for members to estimate the UK market size for around 40 different product types. One of the most vibrant interest groups in the process sector is the Flammable Atmospheres Group, where manufacturers of ATEX and IECEx equipment can discuss issues facing the industry, particularly third party certification for which we have written a code of practice.
