Abstract Title: | Hydrogen blending of Natural Gas : How to tackle the fast measuring |
Presenter Name: | Mr Arjan Meerveld |

Abstract Information :
In the objective to reduce the carbon footprint of our industrial and domestic activities, the injection of hydrogen into the national natural gas grid is one of the possible ways to achieve net zero. It reduces the CO2 footprint when burning natural gas. But the blending needs to be done within certain bandwidth and a fast measurement is required to assure the required caloric value is being injected and supplied for the grid. The best technology that has proven its use and has all the certifications for fiscal metering is of course the gas chromatography. But as the nature of the measurement requires a cycle time to run the complete analysis, this does not give the fast measurement that is required. Using our state of the art continuous gas analyzers, with different analyzer modules and calculation capabilities, a fast and comparable measurement can be achieved within seconds. The presentation will give insight in the technology used and the reason for this fast measurement by the ingenious design and integration of the analyzers features.
