Abstract Information :
In the evolving landscape of air quality monitoring, the demand for automation in the Quality Assurance Level 3 (QAL3) procedure is steadily rising. With an increasing number of measurement equipment featuring automated zero and span checks, the challenge lies in effectively controlling and reporting these procedures and data, which can often be time-consuming and complex. This presentation delves into the proposition that the Data Acquisition Handling System (DAHS) can serve as the governance for the QAL3 procedure, generating automated QAL3 data reports irrespective of analyzer type or brand. By centralizing calculations and reporting within the DAHS, this approach ensures streamlined communication with plant authorities regarding calibration drift, progress, and other crucial metrics. While solutions such as ReportLoq DAHS have emerged to address this need, challenges persist. Our presentation aims to explore these challenges in detail and provide insights into overcoming them to meet the escalating expectations from local regulatory authorities. Through this discussion, we seek to facilitate a deeper understanding of how to effectively integrate automated QAL3 reporting into air quality monitoring systems, paving the way for enhanced efficiency and compliance in environmental management practices such as QAL3.
