Abstract Information :

When it comes to monitoring environmental parameters, the quality control and the validation of recorded data are an essential aspect of the implementation of appropriate global regulations. Only a few regulations have yet started to address such risks, with the establishment of specific standards, such as EN17255:2019 and associated certification, to ensure that the data management system meets the highest standards. The current trend to establish real-time data transfer to third parties (local or national authorities) or even a public display (app, website) adds a further challenge to the implementation of data validation, as the usual manual process can take some time. Sometimes this even requires interaction with the local maintenance team. A number of solutions can be introduced to meet these real-time data transfer requirements, in order to reduce the risk of invalid data being displayed or used, such as automatic validation and remote verification, which must be decided and taken into account at the system design stage. AI could play an important role in this process, with favorable on field results in various countries.
