Venue Accessibility and Sustainability Information

Venue Catering

The Brighton Centre does not use plastic bottles, straws, or cutlery on site, opting instead for bamboo, paper, or wood products. The last item to be eradicated from their operations is single-use plastic cups. The venue has been researching various solutions with the goal of creating a comprehensive strategy, with plans to implement this change in 2025.

Seasoned, the Brighton Centre's catering partner, is committed to becoming a B Corp company and is currently in the process of working towards this accreditation. B Corp Certification indicates that a business meets high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency in areas such as employee benefits, charitable giving, supply chain practices, and input materials. The aim is to achieve this accreditation by 2026.

Inclusivity

The Brighton Centre strives to be as welcoming as possible for all its customers by offering male, female, gender-neutral, and accessible neutral toilets throughout the venue. Additionally, there are neutral and accessible baby changing facilities, along with a Changing Places toilet located on the ground floor.

Hearing Induction Loop

The Brighton Centre features the Sennheiser MobileConnect hearing loop system, which provides an assistive and personal listening solution. This system streams live audio content via WiFi directly to any iOS or Android smartphone within the venue. To utilise this service, download the Sennheiser MobileConnect app from either Google Play or the App Store before your visit, or you can scan a QR code available at the venue.

Once the app is on your device, no passwords or login are necessary. Simply connect to the Brighton Centre Wi-Fi network, enable Bluetooth, and pair it with your hearing aid. Further connection instructions will be provided onsite. Additionally, the app allows users to adjust the volume to their preference.

Venue Accessibility

The Brighton Centre is fully accessible for wheelchair users including accessible toilets, lifts and low counters at the bars. The Exhibition space will have aisles wide enough to accommodate for wheelchair access.
