Following our first and very successful Industrial Methane Measurement Conference in Antwerp, it is our pleasure to invite you to IMMC 2022. IMMC 2022, organised in collaboration with The National Physical Laboratory, will take place in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. This conference will bring together experts in the field of methane metrology from all over the world to discuss the latest field studies and policy developments alongside showcasing cutting edge methods and novel technologies for monitoring methane emissions.
Methane is a potent greenhouse gas and has a significant impact on global climate change. However, the persistence of methane in the atmosphere is much shorter than carbon dioxide, so initiatives to lower methane emissions are likely to be effective more quickly. It is therefore vital that methane emissions are reduced in the near-term, facilitated by accurate and reliable measurements.
IMMC provides a unique environment where academics, industrial stakeholders and regulators are brought together to discuss the increasing need and growing capabilities to measure and reduce industrial methane emissions. This coming year’s two-day event will focus on the following key themes:
