Specially here in the Netherlands we are used to excellent drinking water quality. The water quality in our surface water has improved a lot over the last years. But out of a recent report of an Environmental case study less than 1% of the main rivers and lakes commit to the European regulation for water quality. Besides this, the water quality is changing rapidly, a result of climate change. Much higher concentrations of conductivity and turbidity in summer due to low tights, but also more debris and all kind off pollution in winter due to heavy rainfall. Every industry uses surface or drinking water. Are we aware of these changes and how do we control good quality?
By using sensors we can at least control your water intake or discharge water.
We at Qsenz have a wide range of industrial sensors to measure the water quality real time. By using our in-situ spectrophotometer we can measure several parameters in one measurement, like TOC, COD BTeX and many more. Changes in absorption spectrum which are not directly related to parameters, can be recognized and controlled as well. The sensor is plug & play, has its own specific algorithm, needs less maintenance and onetime calibration.
