Family -owned French independent company, CHROMATOTEC® develops, manufactures and sales scientific instrumentation since 1986.
Exclusively designed and made in France, our instruments are aimed at industry and environment markets. They are used for the continuous monitoring of impurities at very low concentration levels in gases and liquids as certain atmospheric pollutants. They allow the analysis of ambient air quality and industrial air control. Since 40 years on gas analysis market, Chromatotec® is recognized all around the world for its leading-edge technology. The group realizes more than 80% of its activity at export.

Based on chromatography principle, our analyzers are focused on VOC/Sulfurs/Odor Monitoring. Available in rack or wall mounted box, they can include gas generators and automatic calibration systems produced by Chromatotec®. Portable solutions for measurement of VOCs, BTEX and formaldehyde are also proposed. These technologies allow to track individual compounds at ppt/ppb/ppm concentration levels in complex matrices.

Our all-in-one industrial GC solutions are autonomous solutions integrated in special housings answering industrial needs for continuous monitoring of compounds on site. These solutions for gas and liquids analysis are perfectly suited for on field installation for petrochemistry, natural gas control or waste water treatment plants for odor monitoring.

Chromatotec will show one of its products portfolio, the MEDOR® analyser. This highly sophisticated instrument provides continuous, online analysis of sulfur compounds with the detection low to 1 ppb in natural and biogas. The system can analyse a variety of sulphur compounds, including H2S, methyl and ethyl mercaptan, as well as odorant. The system utilizes proven gas chromatography (GC) technology that has been developed and improved over 35 years for odorization and safety applications in various processes. Our systems have gained recognition worldwide from standard organizations such as ISO, ASTM, and CSA, attesting to their quality and performance.

The MEDOR® is available in various configurations to meet specific monitoring requirements. For process control applications, the H2S MEDOR® can analyze traces and ultra-traces of H2S, with a detection limit below 1 ppb and a cycle time as low as 2 minutes. Linearity calculations for traces and ultra-traces of compounds in the ppb concentration range can be performed using standard permeation tubes and successive dilution points. The energyMEDOR® is particularly well-suited for hydrodesulfurization of natural gas, providing analysis of compounds such as THT, H2S, and MeSH. Chromatotec also offers a solution for odorization control with the THT MEDOR (THT, TBM). For hazardous areas, we provide ATEX and CSA International compliant solutions, including the Pressurized type MEDOR Ex for gas cleaning and desulfurization, and the Flameproof type energyMEDOR® for impurity detection in natural gas.
The wide range of MEDOR® technology designed by Chromatotec provides customers with extensive possibilities for sulfur analysis, from process control to odorization measurement. Chromatotec's product range, including also Chroma S and airmoS analyzers, can detect additional sulfur compounds such as Carbonyl sulfide (COS) using Flame Photometric Detector (FPD).
