Short description about presentation:

Earlier this year, the Scottish Government published its second air quality strategy ‘Cleaner Air for Scotland 2 – Towards a Better Place for Everyone’. An independent review of the first strategy ‘Cleaner Air for Scotland – The Road to a Healthier Future’, completed in 2019, assessed progress in implementing the actions contained in that strategy and identified priorities for additional action.
The new strategy is based on the review’s conclusions and recommendations, and sets out how the Scottish Government will deliver further air quality improvements over the period 2021-2025. This presentation will provide an overview of the 10 general themes around which the strategy is structured.
