Unisense Environment was established in 2013 as a spin-off from Unisense A/S - the world leading manufacturer of micro sensors for environmental research. Unisense Environment brings sensors traditionally used for research into industrial applications. Unisense Environment supplies a new advanced N2O sensor which could reduce the climate impact of wastewater treatment dramatically. The N2O Wastewater System is the world’s first sensor system for measuring N2O directly in the treatment processes and estimating the atmospheric emission. Furthermore, Unisense Environment is developing a novel sensor for liquid phase measurement of hydrogen sulphide in sewer networks.
