Biography:

Amit Badlani – a Chemical Engineer from Pune University, is best known for his efforts in bringing in best environmental management practices in major industries polluting the nation. After studying Environmental Technology in London in 2006, he returned to India to begin a career that combined environmental testing and environmental engineering. Having successfully completed his second Masters In Pollution Control from IEE, Delhi and as a founder and Managing director of his company called Go Green Mechanisms founded in 2008- He has been instrumental in the development of best practices in India for sophisticated sampling issues pertaining to isokineticity of particulates, sampling of dioxins and furans and latest techniques of mercury sampling using sorbent trap technology. His vast Experience of 13 years having worked in the developed and developing nations encompasses various aspects of Environment Management viz. statutory EHS compliances at corporate level, compliances of environmental laws and regulations, EIA & CRZ clearances from Central & State Govt. Carrying out environmental impact assessment & risk analysis studies, environmental feasibility studies, environmental management plan, EHS audits, pre & post environmental quality monitoring as per national standards for SEZs, Power Plants, Major Ports, Jetties, Quarrying, Industries and Integrated Townships etc.
