Biography:

Prakash Abhyankar, B.Tech, E&C , is Segment Head ,Process & Environmental vertical of HORIBA INDIA PVT LTD., having rich experience of over 29 years in the field of Emission Measurement. He has worked closely with Automotive industry in measurement techniques and solutions for BS-I to BS-VI norms as Business Head , Automotive segment of HORIBA INDIA.
Prakash has worked with various gas measurement technologies like NDIR,CLD, FID &FTIR. Currently in Process & Environment he is promoting HORIBA solutions for FGD, CEMS, AAQMS and WQMS across industry and to CPCB and SPCB’s.

Short description about presentation:

For the measurement of gases like CO, CO2, SO2 & NOx in Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), Non Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technology is a worldwide accepted technology. HORIBA has developed a unique advancement in NDIR technology that is Cross Flow Modulation (CFM). CFM is HORIBA’s technology which helps in overcoming the challenges which are faced in conventional NDIR technology. This presentation will focus on the description of CFM technology and its advantages over conventional NDIR.
