As per the environmental guidelines from MOEF and PCB of India, all stockpiles of limestone , coal, gypsum, additives have to be stored under permanent covered sheds. As most of the material handling and conveying of bulk material is done by stacker reclaimers, the necessity of using spaceframe technology for large span columnless structures becomes mandatory. This is a advance structural system using forged joints and hollow structural members to create a structurally rigid frame structure covering large span with extremely low weight. The structual system is modular and manufactured in factories under supervised quality control and erected at site relatively faster compared to other site methods of manufacturing large structures.
