Abstract Information :
Under Air Pollution Control Act 1981 and EP Act 1986 , CPCB and MOEF have made mandatory requirement of On line monitoring of Air Pollutants for 17 categories of Industries . Calibration of CEMS is extremely important for generation of quality data . In this presentation case studies on CEMS functioning in Thermal Power Plants , Cement plants and Steel Plants are discussed . Further the current and future regulation / guidelines on CEMS requirements are presented along with new Emission standard for highly polluting industries.
