Sanjeev K. Kanchan is a distinguished environment and sustainability expert from India, with nearly two decades of leadership in research, consulting, and strategic advisory. He has spearheaded high-impact projects on environmental management, sustainability, and industrial decarbonization for global think tanks, and has held senior roles across monitoring technology companies, data intelligence firms, and consulting organizations.

Sanjeev’s work bridges policy, technology, and practice. He has collaborated closely with regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, technology developers, and civil society organizations, delivering solutions across a diverse geographic footprint—including South and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the EU, the UK, Africa, Australia, and the USA.

In India, he has been instrumental in shaping environmental governance through the development of regulatory tools for pollution monitoring, emissions and effluent discharge standards, environmental reporting frameworks, and compliance systems. His technical expertise spans industrial emissions, water and effluent monitoring, real-time monitoring systems, compliance audits, and capacity-building programs.

A respected voice in the field, Sanjeev has authored numerous guidelines, manuals, policy papers, and technical reports, many of which serve as standard references for stakeholders in the environmental and regulatory ecosystem.

Sanjeev K Kanchan

Dr. Jyoti Gautam is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and leadership. She holds a B.E. from Netaji Subhas University of Technology (formerly Delhi Institute of Technology), an M.E. from Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in the Semantic Web from Gautam Buddha University, under the guidance of Dr. Ela Kumar.

Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sharda University. Prior to this, she held academic leadership roles including Associate Professor at NSUT-East Delhi Campus and Head of the CSE Department at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida.

Dr. Jyoti Gautam is actively involved in global water research initiatives. She is a Steering Committee Member of the Digital Water Program at the International Water Association (IWA), Chair of the Digital Water Sub-Group India, and former member of the IWA India National Executive Committee. She also serves as the State President of the Delhi Artificial Intelligence Council under WICCI.

An internationally recognized speaker, she has delivered keynote addresses at Lincoln University College and Sunway, Malaysia, as well as the IEEE Conference on Future of Educational Innovation at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. She was a panellist in the UK-India Cooperation event on AI ethics, organized by Infosys Consulting and the British High Commission in collaboration with NASSCOM.

Her research interests span Digital Water, AI, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Semantic Web technologies. She has published extensively, served as a reviewer for reputed international journals, and co-authored a white paper on resilience with international experts. She also holds a patent in water conservation and management in collaboration with Prof. Amlan Chakrabarti.

Dr.Gautam has been a Visiting Researcher at the Waterinformatics Lab, University of Calcutta, and conducted workshops globally, including in Denmark, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. She is an Innovation Ambassador certified by MOE’s Innovation Cell and AICTE and has contributed to major academic and industry events as a resource person, jury member, and session chair.

Jyoti Gautam

Prof. Amlan Chakrabarti is a senior academic and technology leader, currently serving as Professor and Director of the A.K. Choudhury School of Information Technology, University of Calcutta, and Adjunct Professor at IIIT Delhi. With over 20 years of experience in digital systems, AI, IoT, cyber-physical infrastructure, and quantum technologies, he has led major national and industry-funded projects in areas like smart water systems, digital transformation, and secure computing. He is the Chairman of the Computer Society of India (CSI), Kolkata Chapter, and the Series Editor of Springer’s Book Series on “Water Informatics”, reflecting his leadership at the intersection of technology and sustainability. A recipient of several national and international awards including from DST, INSA, JSPS, Cambridge University, and IBM, he has published 200+ research papers, holds multiple patents, and serves on India’s National Quantum Mission Technical Expert Group, contributing to national policy and innovation strategies.

Amlan Chakrabarti

Masters in Chemistry, Doctorate in Environment Project Management and Industrial Hygienist from BOSH UK. Having 27 years of Experience in Environmental Projects, Monitoring and Management with different organizations like National Productivity Council (Govt of India), SGS India Pvt Ltd, CVR Labs (AB Houston Group), SMS, Knowledge Lens and presently with Amara Raja Group of companies. Undergone training by German Experts (GTZ) and Indian Experts on environmental projects, monitoring, dispersion modelling, performance efficiency studies of APCD, ETP etc. Project Head for different environmental projects to CPCB, APCB, GPCB, MPCB, TNPCB and CEA (Srilanka), ATTEST (Saudi Arabia). Experienced in CEMS and CEQMS Performance Calibration as per EN14181 and Relative Accuracy Test Audit (RATA). Experienced in design of ETP, ETP-ZLD and STP system and conduct Adequacy and Efficacy study of ETP – ZLD & STP systems. Various Training programmes are conducted in the topic of “Air Pollution, Effluent Treatment Plant, Air Pollution Control Equipments, Industrial Hygiene with Risk Assessment, “Hazardous Waste, Coprocessing in Cement Plants, Indoor Air Quality etc., India, Srilanka, Bangkok, Saudi Arabia.

Suresh Kumar

Mr J.S.Kamyotra is an Environment Expert and an alumni of Delhi College Of Engineering. He has been the Member Secretary of Central Pollution Control Board, the country’s premier environment decision making body, for 5 years.

Mr. Kamyotra has over 40 years experience working in policy formulation, development of environmental standards, establishment of real time monitoring networks in the areas of air quality, water and noise pollution. He has also been responsible for indigenous development of mobile air quality monitoring van.

Mr. Kamyotra has been a member of various National Policy Planning Committees and various environmental committees constituted by the Honorable Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal. He has a number of publications to his credit He has been the country’s representative in various international conferences and committees focusing on sustainable development in developing countries particulary ASEAN and the SAARC region. He is a member of APCAP, the OECD Committee on Standards Development and Facilitator for Male Declaration. He has travelled widely both in India and abroad, coordinating various European and Canadian bilateral programmes and projects to assess the mitigative technologies available that can be successfully imbibed in developing countries, such as India.

J S Kamyotra

Dola Gupta is a DST Women Scientist at the University of Calcutta, specializing in AI/ML, IoT, sensor networks, and data analytics with applications in water informatics, environmental sustainability, and Agritech. She has experience in academia as an Assistant Professor, Guest Faculty, PhD Scholar, and currently as Principal Investigator in a DST-funded project. Her innovations include smart learning models (SLMs) and IoT architectures for cost-effective, energy-efficient smart agriculture solutions.

She has received several recognitions, including 1st Prize at IDEATHON, IIT Ropar (2025), a grant from IIT Kharagpur Research Park, and being a winner in CHUNAUTI 7.0. She has published extensively in IEEE, Springer, and SN Computer Science journals on smart agriculture, water management, and communication systems. She holds a patent (2024) on IoT-based sustainable agriculture systems.

Her academic journey includes B.Tech, M.Tech from Jadavpur University, and a Ph.D. (pursuing) at the University of Calcutta. She is actively engaged in organizing workshops, FDPs, and reviewing for reputed journals. She is a Managing Committee Member of CSI (2025–27) and member of IEEE (ComSoc, CS) and IWA.

She has research in IoT & AI, teaching, teamwork, adaptability, and leadership in tech-driven societal applications.
