Iknaia's Airscan brand is an advanced air quality monitoring technology (Outdoor and Indoor) that can be used to build large-scale air quality networks. Airscan is being used by many local authorities across the UK, Europe and USA. One of our largest deployments is here in Hertfordshire working with Hertfordshire CC. We implement AI and machine learning algorithms to predict pollution patterns and optimise device performance.

Iknaia's Litmus brand addresses a crucial need by providing accurate, real-time data on water pollution. We install water quality monitoring buoys into the sea, near to combined sewage overflows (CSOs) to monitor the amount of raw sewage that is being distributed into the sea. Sewage was dumped into waters near England’s most celebrated beaches for nearly 8,500 hours last year. Our technology assists the water industry in complying with environmental regulations and also alerts swimmers and bathers to the water quality. We have also developed a miniaturised water quality monitoring buoy that can be deployed in fishing lakes and rivers to monitor oxygen levels and alert when these drop and can be harmful to fish. Two of our larger buoys are deployed in Boscombe and Bournemouth beach area.
