Abstract Information :
The misconception that outdoor air pollutants do not enter buildings has recently been clarified by a number of studies. When pollutants such as NO2, O3 and PM mix with indoor pollutants such as CO2, VOC’s and specific compounds such as Formaldehyde this can lead to poor air quality inside where most of us spend most of our time. The workshop will examine a range of monitoring technologies specifically designed to inform us on indoor air quality matters. We will also discuss ways to mitigate these unhealthy levels of pollution in our homes, offices and vehicles.
